Visions has decided not to renew our contract with SkyQ internet services beginning July 1, 2021. What this means is that for the next few months, we will transition these services internally to a new team which we will call “Student Technology Services (STS)” which will become part of our Technology Services Department.
We’ve had a great partnership with SkyQ since 2004 and we are eternally grateful for their great work and support for our students and staff. As a result of our continued growth and experienced internal staff, we have decided to take on this opportunity to serve our families.
We have posted positions for the new staff needed to support the new Student Technology Services group and will hire qualified candidates in next month or so. Once we have the right staff in place, we will train the new staff and work alongside SkyQ to fulfill student support needs until we fully transition over beginning July 1, 2020.
What if I need help now?
In the meantime, SkyQ is still your primary go-to for student tech support and device deliveries. Please continue to contact them as normal for anything you need. If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please discuss with your manager.
